You checked to make sure the deadbolt wasn’t obstructing the door and pulled really hard, and looked and you can see that the latch is sticking out from the door and into the door frame? Kwickset knob, and I have three of them keyed alike so it’s not as simple as “just buy a new one.” It was initially stuck open and I couldn’t get it to close (I probably should’ve lubed it then); I slammed it closed and it won’t open from either side.
